Emmanuel Nursery School has been a successful preschool for over forty years. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian early education center licensed by the State of Connecticut. The school is located at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, but is operated independently of the church.

Our mission is to provide a warm and accepting environment for young children and their families. We offer an atmosphere that nurtures academic, emotional, social, language, and physical growth.
Our Philosophy
At Emmanuel Nursery School each child is viewed as a whole person with individual needs and learning strategies. We believe that children learn best through exploration and hands on activities. Our program is designed to foster creativity and encourage self-expression in each child.
Our Classrooms
Our classrooms at ENS are set up into centers of activities to create a rich, stimulating place for children to learn through active exploration, experimentation, decision-making and problem solving. This includes centers for dramatic play, art projects, building blocks, language arts (reading and writing) and science.
