In 2011, Emmanuel Nursery School moved to a newly completed wing of the Emmanuel Parish Hall. Each of the brand new, center-based classrooms is bright, spacious and inviting to young children. The use of centers within the classroom is a valuable way to keep children engaged in positive and constructive activities. Centers promote social skills, creativity and more.
The overall school environment is designed to make children feel safe and give them a sense of ownership over their classroom. Furniture is child-sized and books and materials are easily accessible. The rooms are decorated with ever changing creative artwork, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment. Each room has it's own bathroom with scaled down facilities allowing the children to develop independence and self-help skills.
