Preschool Programs

 

Three's Program

This is an exciting time of independence and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. Our emphasis in the classroom is on social and emotional development. The children are encouraged to learn through play, while the structure of a daily routine helps foster self-help skills and independence. We offer a three day program Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and a five day program Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

 

Four's Program

Children in our Four's classroom are ready for more complexity in their play and exploration. Emphasis is placed on increased expectations for independence in personal and social skills, as well as more challenging cognitive, physical and creative experiences. The Four's program is Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

 

Mommy and Me Yoga

Our Mommy and Me Yoga program is designed for children two years of age. Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength and coordination. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, explore and develop a relationship with the world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface. Our Mommy and Me Yoga is a nine week session offered Tuesday mornings from 9:15am - 10:00am.

 

Before and After School Programs

 

Early Morning Childcare

Our Early Bird Program is for preschool children who arrive to school before regular classroom hours between 8:00am and 9:00am. The children will have quiet play time before it is time to transition to the preschool program.

 

Afternoon Childcare

For those parents who want to extend their child's day at school ENS offers after school childcare from 1:00pm to 3:45pm daily. Children will have story and rest time followed by afternoon activities and/or outdoor play.

 

Late Day Childcare

For Elementary and Intermediate School students, we offer late day childcare from 3:45pm to 6:00pm daily. The students can ride the bus from the Weston Public School to Emmanuel Nursery School. After snack children will have time to complete their homework followed by indoor and outdoor play. This option is especially convenient for our parents who have younger siblings attending our preschool program.
